2013 Theatre Arts Summer Camps
Travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of Disney’s Mulan. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor! Disney’s MULAN JR. is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit. The score includes favorites like “Reflection,” “Honor to Us All” and “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” as well as new songs that will get everyone up on their feet!
Camp 1: One Week Theatre is Fun! Camp
For ages 6-9
June 17-21, 2013 ~ 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Children work towards a shortened version of this Disney favorite as they learn blocking, choreography and music.
This is a fast-paced camp in which everyone participates!
Cost: $125 first child, $100 sibling #1, $75 sibling #2, $25 each for siblings #4 and #5.
Performance on Friday, June 21st at 7:00 p.m.
Camp 2: Two Week Arts Enrichment! Camp
For ages 9 and up
June 17-21, 2013 ~ 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
AND
June 24-28, 2013 ~ 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Students receive more in depth instruction on all of the elements involved in putting together a full stage production. They will learn blocking, choreography, music, set building, costume design, props, lighting and sound and fully stage this Disney favorite on an fast-paced timeline.
Cost: $250 first child, $200 sibling #1, $150 sibling #2, $25 each for siblings #4 and #5.
Performance on Friday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m.
