We continue to deal with the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19. For the safety and well-being of all of our actors, production team members, volunteers and patrons, we have rescheduled all of our 2020 activities and shows to 2021, pending confirmation of dates and facilities. We plan to host the same summer camps next year and stage Matilda next July, followed by Moana JR in the fall. We want to give each show the space and production quality they deserve. Dates will be announced when they are determined. Our STARS program remains a priority and we continue to work on ways to keep our students connected, whether virtually or in person. Space has always been Kudzu’s biggest hurdle and we are grateful for the generous and compassionate individuals and organizations that have allowed us to use their facilities over the years. We look forward to resuming those relationships in the future.
Kudzu is proud to be a small community theatre. While this year was going to be quieter for us, we never expected it to be this quiet. However, it has given us some much-needed time to step back, reflect and reassess who and what we want to be going forward. We look forward to the time when we can all be safely back in one, large, boisterous family to enjoy and celebrate and perform together. Until then, please stay safe and stay healthy, and thanks so much for your continued support of Kudzu Playhouse.
With Gratitude,
Joi Taylor, Executive Director
