Available Kudzu Scholarships
There are 3 scholarships available:
- Wesley W. Williamson Memorial Scholarship
- Jim Anderson Legacy Scholarship
- Kudzu Playhouse Heritage Scholarship
Who Should Apply?
- Graduating high school senior OR rising college freshmen or sophomores (Must have less than 50 credit hours at time of application)
- Legal U.S. resident who is under 21 years of age and eligible to attend a 2-4 year college or university.
- Must maintain a minimum of 2.8 GPA
- Participated in at least 1 Kudzu Mainstage production or 2+ years of STARS or Summer Camp Productions with Kudzu Playhouse.
What to Submit
Applications will be evaluated based on how well they meet the outlined criteria and the quality of effort demonstrated in their essay.
A 750-word essay reflecting on a moment in your theatre journey that changed your understanding of yourself.
What happened, what did you learn, and how has that experience influenced your goals, values, or sense of identity?
